I know that Allied only sells to business that are registered with them. I don't know about Stregge-Wuttke. Send me a private email if I can help you with anything.

Russ Kaiser wrote:I need to order some tuba related items and I think either Strege-Wuttke or Allied will have them. The repair shop that used to get things for me is not in business anymore. I don't know if either company will deal directly with me or not, but so far I have not been able to contact them to even ask. The numbers I have for both (from old catalogs) are not in service. The numbers I have found on the web are wrong. I talked to an old lady in a nursing home in Elk Horn twice, bless her heart.

Would a someone that orders from them frequently please post a contact number. If they won't sell to me directly I will cross that bridge next.

Many Thanks,

Russ
Allied sells to the trade only.

Strege-Wuttke will sell to individuals, or you can just call Ed Strege at Badger State Repair and buy them from him through his retail outlet. Google Yellow Pages will provide you with a number--that's how I got it.

And I agree that Allied should get off their corncobs and help the rest of us out, again, without having to impose upon friends.

Russ, I would if I knew it, but I don't. Every time I've needed it, I've looked it up.

But here I find it in my archive. This was accurate as of December, 2001:

Badger State Repair
204 W. Centralia
Elkhorn, WI 53121
262-723-4062

Ed Strege is not a technological guy. I am, but I still can't figure out how our office phones record outgoing greetings for voice mail. He probably still has a rotary-dial phono that rings a real bell. I wouldn't be surprised if there is no computer on the premises.

Badger State is (262) 723-4062. I called for 'Fast Eddie' earlier in the week and he was on vacation. The email address he uses for his auction transactions is mrstregs@aol.com ... He'll answer his email but won't discuss prices unless you call.
