I need to order some tuba related items and I think either Strege-Wuttke or Allied will have them. The repair shop that used to get things for me is not in business anymore. I don't know if either company will deal directly with me or not, but so far I have not been able to contact them to even ask. The numbers I have for both (from old catalogs) are not in service. The numbers I have found on the web are wrong. I talked to an old lady in a nursing home in Elk Horn twice, bless her heart.

Would a someone that orders from them frequently please post a contact number. If they won't sell to me directly I will cross that bridge next.

Allied sells to the trade only.

Strege-Wuttke will sell to individuals, or you can just call Ed Strege at Badger State Repair and buy them from him through his retail outlet. Google Yellow Pages will provide you with a number--that's how I got it.

While I appreciate the "teach a man to fish" approach for many things, in this case it would be great be to told the number rather than to be told where to find the number.

Russ, I would if I knew it, but I don't. Every time I've needed it, I've looked it up.

Ed Strege is not a technological guy. I am, but I still can't figure out how our office phones record outgoing greetings for voice mail. He probably still has a rotary-dial phono that rings a real bell. I wouldn't be surprised if there is no computer on the premises.
