If IE8 is causing the problem, you can always run in in compatibility mode. Click the button that looks like a broken window to the right of the address bar (where you enter web addresses.) IE8 is much more secure than IE7, I do recommend it.

That's like saying hanging is better than the electric chair! Using any version of IE is like painting a bullseye on your forehead (and don't get me started on Outlook!).

Firefox is a far superior browser on many levels, especially considering the many plugins available for it. Google also has a new browser that is getting good reviews, although I haven't used it.

My day job is as an IT Manager, and this is the same advice I give our corporate users, many of whom are computer-semi-literate.
