BTW, I have a York & Sons rotary F/Eb/D/C curved alto built around 1913 that is not so worn, with built-up rotors that are halfway between Berlin valves and regular rotors, that plays REALLY well in F -or- C. remember, York had a l-o-n-g history, and went through many, many manufacturing phases.bloke wrote:Most of the other instruments that York made (cornets, trombones, saxophones, horns, baritones, etc.) sell - in original worn condition - for low prices.
