I am selling a used 186b-5U CC. This instrument is three years old, and has less than 50 hours of total play time. Horn is in overall great condition with a couple of very minor dents and no observable scratches.
I am selling this horn because I am playing all the time on the bass tuba now and will probably purchase a different CC tuba after I graduate.
This horn retails new at $5,500 at some of the better priced locations. I'm willing to part with her for $3,495.

I'm not sure... it was purchased directly from the tuba exchange and looks and plays just like any other 186 i've ever purchased. It is the same design as all the other 186CC horns and also similar to the 186BBb horn. It comes with the fifth valve, and an adjustable thumbring. It is in pretty decent condition and is a good starter to intermediate horn for someone moving to CC.
