I'll have the Woodbridge merlot, please. Had a glass of merlot with some fried chicken livers tonight. Don't know if it was Woodbridge or some other low-bucks screw top. There's another cheap merlot out there called Vendage. Pretty good stuff for less than $10 for 1.5 liter.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Strongly recommend giving this a try if you are into strong, dark ales. (And actually, even if you are not, it is worth a try. A number of folks that I know who are not into such beers have become fans after trying it.):

The Capital Ale House in Richmond, VA has Dogfish Head on tap, along with a beer list that is about 20 pages long.Dr.Zoidberg wrote:I miss that beer! Trader Joe's and Whole Foods used to carry that, but now it's impossible to get it in CA. Just picked up a 24 pack of Pyramid Snow Cap, so life is still good.Bill Troiano wrote:Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA - brewed in Delaware (9%) - tasy and packs a punch!!

YES! Fat Tire Amber Ale is a very popular local beer here.
A product of the New Belgium Brewing Co. just up the road in Fort Collins, Colorado (home of Colo. State U.)

Scares the bejeezus out of me when I see a paper bag with 3 40 oz. empties inside lying by the side of the road

I'll second that choice of Duvel.
