WTB - UPRIGHT DETACHABLE MIRAPHONE 186 BELL

Post by tofu »

I have a friend who has an old Miraphone 186 with a detachable recording bell. Now that he has retired from an army reserve band he would like to get an upright detachable bell for it for indoor playing.

Doesn't have to be beautiful - just in playable condition.

Anybody have one they'd like to sell?

Finding a second bell mounting flange may not be very easy. Your friend may have an easier time of things by replacing the whole bell stack from the bottom bow up with a fixed upright bell.

I have no idea if this is even close to workable... but oddly, I run accoss both things in the same day, so, here this is...

VINTAGE BESSON BRASS BELL (ONLY) 17 1/4" x 6 1/4"
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

That is a definite possibility but he was really hoping to be able to use the recording bell for outdoor concerts and use the upright for indoors.

Does anybody know if this bell would work? The price sure is right.
