Custom Boosey EEb for sale

Post by scottmendoker »

I have an old Boosey that was in low pitch. Matt Walters did an economy overhaul on it - not removing any of the guards but took the horn apart, removed dents and cut it up to modern pitch. Then, he had prototype bells from Besson - a 17", 18" and 19". (The original had a 15" bell) He put on the 18" bell as that one made the horn sound the best. Also, he installed a new Besson 982 leadpipe with a Meinl Weston 45slp receiver. Pitch is terrific as is the sound. And it comes with a new Soundwear bag.
Between the new bell, leadpipe, bag and overhaul, I have quite a bit invested in the instrument. And I had to BUY it before any work could be done.

$3800
