 There you have it, gents: pretty girls CAN play low brass!

Thanks for breaking the gender barrier, EuphEC! Nice to see a face worth lookin' at in this thread (yeah, I do remember another very attractive but unidentified euph player in someone's tuba Christmas pic earlier, but since she didn't send it, it doesn't count).

My wife does not like it when I flirt with a woman of any age or beauty(or lack thereof). Furthermore, her definition of flirting is somewhat expanded from mine, which causes an occasional bit of instruction to come my way.

Well, Ray, my wife knew she was marrying a sometime-trombone-player. She knows the trombone-player in me can't possibly keep from flirting with the girls, but the tuba-player in me keeps them from flirting back!!

Besides, she knows tuba players are notoriously faithful. And I save my BEST sweet-talk for her! ;)

One secret to a happy marriage: ALWAYS do EVERYTHING as though your spouse is going to find out about it.

I don't bring this part up very often, just in case my wife might get some ideas...

This is the picture on my avatar. When I reduced it, it lost some of the color.

That picture I had was from my former avatar. I learned some new things and put up another picture. This was at my 30 year high school reunion in November 2005.
