13th Annual Atlantic Brass Quintet Seminar
July 22- August 4, 2006
Boston College
Staff: Atlantic Brass Quintet & Triton Brass Quintet
John Manning, Professor of Tuba/Euph-Univ of Iowa
Jobey Wilson, Professor of Tuba/Euph-Boston College

Hello all,
Atlantic & Triton are getting ready for yet another great Seminar, again to be held at beautiful Boston College in Chestnut Hill (Boston), MA. Last summer's Seminar was an incredible success, and the level of student musicians was at an all-time high. Last year's quintets performed the Etler, Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, Laudes, Rounds & Dances, Ewald 1, 2 & 3, Lutoslawski, Arutunian, Ewazen, numerous other standard works and also new works recently discovered by Atlantic & Triton. Each quintet will be coached by EVERY member of both Atlantic & Triton, and other guest artists. Atlantic & Triton will each perform one full recital during the Seminar, a joint recital (brass blowout) the second week, and will conduct masterclasses throughout. Info and applications can be downloaded at either:

In addition to being a downright rockin' time, this seminar is a great chance to develop your chamber music skills under the tutelage of some of the best brass musicians teaching today.

This is an amazing camp. The quality of the players at the camp is extremely, and the amount of musical growth that each player experiences throughout the camp is amazing. I participated in the camp two summers ago and it was definitely one of the best musical experiences i have ever had.
