Kudos to Jobey and Triton

Post by MikeMason »

I've recently been corresponding with Jobey Wilson of Triton BQ about f tubas. He referred me to their website to check out audio on 2 f's i am considering.WOW! what a fine group and some fine tubaing.Everyone must go and listen to these clips.Listen to the sound quality and refinement of Jobey(and oh yeah, the other 4 too  ).Listen to the sound he gets out of his Alex CC on the Tomasi.Very tasty. Some yummy sounds indeed.www.tritonbrass.org

Right on, man. Jobey is an amazing player, and an even more amazing guy. He taught me not only the joys of musicianship but also some fine life lessons.

Just out of interest, which tubas are used on which tracks?

for fun: the two tubas used are a B&S symphonie f and a Gronitz piston f.See if you can tell which is which. The Tomasi is on an Alex CC.Give your guesses and i'll give the answer later.
