True. But AOL tends to use software designed by Microsoft.

I don't see much difference in the Firefox and Thunderbird browsers and Netscrape, except that they are not united in one unit--which I find annoying.

I actually prefer the Firefox/Thunderbird combination to Netscrape. But I usually use the Safari browser and the program called Mail to get my mail. No wonder even Microsoft recommends Safari on its Macintosh Internet Exploder page!
