Congratulations on your audition.

Why don't you enlighten us as to this proof?

Interesting, Contrabass trombone in a highschool? Wow! What make was it?

Because Tubas are cooler!
I don't know , I think my contra-T-bone is pretty cool. Its heavy, awkward and I don't ever have much call to play it but....it sure looks cool.

And, like puppies, they are a real babe magnet. Try it, take one to the park and walk around with it in hand. Just be careful, don't let the cops spot you......

oops, time to get back to work.

I beat all of the tuba players for a tuba spot!
How 'bout posting a picture of your horn and a sound file?

He quit tuba and sold it a few months ago, remember?

Now he posts with authority several times daily on the trombone board, mostly about contrabass trombones he has never touched or even seen.

As much as you love Carol Jantsch? You guys should hook up and do a Tuba/Contrabass Trombone duet together. I think it'd be cute.

I've seen a contrabass trombone, but never played one. Out of curiousity, what kind of mouthpiece do you use? Something like a tuba MP or a regular bass trombone one?

Well, just when I had sworn to not click on his posts anymore he goes and decides to do something cool like dump the tuba and move to a new online neighborhood.

Such a nice boy, too, that Ralph.
His name was Ralph? UGH!! What a terrible excuse of a Ralph!!
