I love it when "write-offs at first glance" turn out even better than they had been before. Great job!

Sometimes, the spectacular work that Oberloh and others do is appropriate and inspiring. Other times, just getting something to work reasonably well for its context is even better. If I were in school, I'd be pleased as punch to play either of them!

Excuse my ignorance, but how does one "greatly lengthen" a bow?

Perhaps Joe posted the wrong pictures by mistake. He should have shown us his tube stretcher

Yes, his tube stretcher can be found right next to the board bender and between the sky hook and the box of half-tone dots! :D

I assume when you're talking about the detachable bell and valveset you mean Jupiter stole the idea, not Yamaha?

I dunno; having seen some of Bloke's work, it wouldn't surprise me if he DID know of a way to stretch a branch. ;)

But Bloke is usually pretty good with his word choices, and the fact that he said "lengthened" instead of "replaced with a longer one" made me wonder if he EITHER drew it for greater length, OR added some material to it in a way that was sufficiently clean as to not be visible in the pics.

So, Bloke, was that what you meant? Just replaced with a longer one?
