my son did his project this year on the effect mutes have on the pitch of the trombone. I played a series on notes on the trombone for him and he measured the pitch with a tuner to see how various mutes affected the pitch. We started of course with the open trombone then went from there with straight, cup, bucket, practice, harmon mutes and a plunger. He then charted the results and wrote up his findings and all. It worked out to be a fairly good and painless project.

I'm not at all familiar with "Brain Entrainment," but it is interesting to know it could get you to the state science fair. I'm about to go get into my truck and drive home from work. I'm not always thrilled about work, and it certainly doesn't involve "big money," but it is usually more interesting to me than Brain Entrainment, since I don't even know what that is.TubaBluba wrote:My project is on Brain Entrainment. I made it to state science fair so now I will have to start getting ready for that. There is big money to be won in these things though.
(Just playing with you.)

Sure... the dog lights up, the smoke goes up to his eyes (since he doesn't have any hands to use), he starts tearing up, and the moisture is collected in the dish, along with the ashes from the butt and whatever the dog ate for lunch. Haven't you ever heard of a Pavlovian Reflux?TubaTinker wrote:'scuze me... is that dog smoking a cigarette!bloke wrote:damn...

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
