York info

Post by Alex Reeder »

I just bought a used Getzen G50 with an actual York bell from a Monster E flat. While I have heard of the legendary reputation of York tubas, I realized that I actually know very little about them. Does anyone know about how many were built total, how many are still in use today, or can recommend a good place to find more information?

This isn't the same Mark Jones I played in the Saint Rose Wind Ensemble with, is it?
