I would like to piggy again...

You might also consider a new Dalyan piggy, too. I enjoyed playing it. Not a great large ensemble horn, but would be great for Dixieland, polka, quintet, etc.

David Fedderly has two piggies at Baltimore Brass. The piggy rules with its big bore size and handy shape. I'm really sorry I ever sold mine. Would it be possible to make a piggy six valve F? John

I've seen 5u Piggies listed on the Cerveny site. That has me thinking already of getting my recently acquired 4u Piggy converted to 5u.

I need to find a way to buy the 5th valve, lever assembly, and all the plumbing from Cerveny. Any suggestions?

Fortunately, ever so fortunately, there is a reputable brass technician near me. He is not nationally publicized, but he did work on my former Mirafone 186 on a couple of occasions and I would trust him to perform this major 'valve' surgery.

When I broke the fifth valve lever for my Mirafone, Miraphone sent me one from Germany to me in Indonesia--NO CHARGE!

I don't know. Just a few turns and it's done. Wind doesn't bother it much.
