You know, I Googled this and found lots of stuff. I was going to send this to you but then I thought, "You know, this person needs to find out for himself..." So, go to Google and type, "Don Haddad" in quotes and you will get a lot of stuff.

I studied with Mr. Haddad at Interlochen Arts Academy in 1962-63. He played French Horn and a very nice guy. I played his Suite when it was still in manuscript. I don't know a lot more about him (hey I was in HS :>D) but perhaps IAA would have some info.

It was kind of nice to read his bio finally. Many of my students played the piece, but I never knew who he was.
