I'm only asking because their website is moving and cannot be acessed, but does Walt Johnson sell a 6/4 case as well as the 4/4? What are the specs on those?
thanks a lot!

3 sizes?
If I remember correctly, there are 3 tuba sizes for the Walt Johnson case: small, med and large.
(The Conn 52J fit in the small - once again that is based on my memory - could have been the medium)
Walt will want you to measure your horn and then he will tell you which
size and he will pad it to the exact specs of your horn.
Since his web site isn't up you can't see the measurement form, but
it was very similar to the one that Ferguson Music uses for gig bags (link below):

By the way, it is a great case. It even survived when the TSA decided to just secure ONE
of the clasps after inspection. (I hate it that you can't watch them inspect anymore.)
The airlines have cracked several wheels so far, but Walt is great about replacing them.
