The description says this is a "powerfull " [sic.] instrument. I never heard of a powerful instrument; only powerful players.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

There were bigger sousaphones, but the 40K was the King (Conn) o' the Beasts.
Then this must be the King, Queen and prince of sousaphones. (Conn 40K, Conn 28K, you know the other).
Another cool thing is the engraving on the 40K. It's interesting to have a horn that tells you what it is.

Hm, my 40K bell just says "Made by Conn", and the engraving is a lot simpler.

Back in my younger days with a 27" waist I still couldn't fit inside that thing
New Breed, Old Breed! It doesn't matter so long as it's the Marine Breed!
