Yorkbrunner for sale at Baltimore Brass!

Post by joshwirt »

Just wanted to mention that my old Hirsbrunner HB50 "Yorkbrunner" is now for sale at Baltimore Brass. It's a fabulous instrument that has served me very well for the short time that I was able to own it, but things in my life have changed and I can no longer justify owning such an instrument.

-Incredible response from top to bottom

-Great intonation throughout (little if any slide pulling)

-Valves were aligned by Alan Baer less than a year ago for the previous owner (a prominent NYC tuba player)

-6 years old, but looks brand new

Again, the horn is no longer mine, but I just wanted to put in a plug that it was out there....

Also mention that David Fedderly of Baltimore Brass has been a longtime supporter and sponsor of TubeNet, not to mention running a top notch business. I bought my current CC tuba from them along with the gig bag.

Trust me...the price is well worth it. This particular horn is one of the better Yorkbrunners I've encountered. Anyone lucky enough to get a hold of this horn will be plenty satisfied. It's a great one!
