Post by joshwirt »

I'm looking for a Kanstul 30H with the C4 rim

Anyone got one in great (like new) condition to part with?

PM me if you do and we'll talk.

Thanks,
Josh

If so, is the "C4 rim" version, then, a LOT like the s.s. Baer 'piece?
Yes, and yes.

Actually, I would say Yes and No. I tried my Laskey 30H copy with the C4 rim that Kanstul did for me next to the Baer and there was a considerable difference in feel and sound. I, too, thought that they would be very similar.

It's been awhile since I did that, so I couldn't go into much detail, but suffice to say I like the Laskey copy much, much better.
