I know Laskey's, Wick, PT (some), Doug Elliott, Bach if that helps anyone.

There isn't a website with this sort of information on is there??

Thanks in advance

The Bobo "Symphonic" is a variation on the Schilke 69C4 or Mirafone C4, aka TU23.

The Bobo "Solo" is a variation of what used to be marked just as a Mirafone Eb/F or C8 now known as the TU13 (I think, not 100% sure about that one)

Interesting. I have both sitting here on a shelf beside me, and have played on both at different times -- although many years apart. Hadn't thought there was really any connection prior to reading this post. The C4 feels much more shallow and with a smaller throat by comparison as I recall. Must try a "side by side" comparison tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm curious.

Bobo Solo

I use the Bobo Solo on my 822 F for every occasion. It has great response, especially in the low end when blowing right.

I play a replica Bobo Solo. Works great for me. I do have a gold Jim self mouthpiece. I haven't played a gold Bobo Solo or a replica Jim Self so I couldn't tell you what difference the gold makes.
