I loved playing in any ensemble that Gerald Welker conducted. He was a huge influence on me throughout high school and college.
I've never played for a more enthusiastic and exciting conductor; he could really make a group play their hearts out.

I too enjoyed Welker's checking himself out/checking too see if the audience was checking him out/dancing/conducting (in that order). Hell of a musician. too bad I couldn't really enjoy my time there since I was sitting next to Jamin!
