Intl Euph Institute - New Artists and only 8 places left!!

Post by adamfrey »

I am very pleased to say that we have had tremendous interest in this year's IEI festival. We only have 8 places left for full tuition (plenty of room for auditors for the course).
Also, we have recently confirmed new artists:

Kevin Wass - Texas Tech University, Shared Master Class with Adam Frey
Grupo de Tubas da Amazônia - A 12 member tuba, euphonium, and percussion ensemble from Brazil
Robert Ambrose - Director of Bands, Georgia State University

Previously confirmed Artists include:
Tormod Flaten, Adam Frey, Brian Bowman, Steve Call, Jeff Nelson, Mike Moore, Tom Gibson, and Charae Kruger.
Teaching Assistants:
Martin Cochran, Mark Carlson, Chris Buckley, and Ryan Black

For more information and applications, please visit:

Best wishes,

I had the pleasure of meeting Adam this fall. He performed a recital and worked with several of my students at Music Works in Bellevue, WA. It was a great evening.

For what it's worth, I strongly recommend Adam and his camp to anyone.

This is a great opportunity for all euphonium players, particularly if you're preparing for competitions or auditions. It is well worth it!

ditto...i was upset to pull out of the program this summer due to an inflexible employer. it was a great experience. plus the people are fantastic :) it was a real motivator and i have kept in touch with several participants. i hope to be able to attend in 2007!

I can't recommend this enough to any euphonium player - regardless of age or ability level. Everyone comes out of the IEI with a renewed agility and a few new friends. If you are able to make this camp - do it! Be on the lookout for the concert of Pantomimes this year! (sorry, inside joke...) Hopefully besting the Vintage concert from last year! ;)

IEI Fun

Post by adamfrey »

Yes, I am sure we will hear many Pantomimes and Curnows. Thank you for the positive feed back and I just hope word continues to spread and IEI can grow at a sustainable rate without losing its personal feel.
