Observation While looking at this lab, I see many different test tubes as well as liquids. Looks like the stereotypical science lab.
Problem What are the different rates of reaction throughout the chalk and levels/acidity of vinegar?
Hypothesis Take into account the chemical make up for the chalk, vinegar and diluted vinegar.
Materials A beaker, a graduated cylinder an eyedropper, water, vinegar, test tubes, chalk, as well as paper towels.
Procedure Fill each test tube with whole chalk or ground up chalk as directedFill with vinegar or diluted vinegarAs directedChart results according to data table.
Data SEE OBSERVATIONS CHART
Analysis I was able to chart results after following the results dictated by the lab sheet provided by the lab technician.
Conclusion/ Summary From this lab, I learned how temperature affects the rate of reaction with acids and bases. I also was able to realize the significant and drastic change that dilution of an acid can have on dissolving any base-like substances. The problems of this lab were minimal, but apparent. The problems of this lab mainly attributed to applying the hot and cold water the beakers that were containing the test tubes. The only other thing that could be considered a hindrance would be the miss-labeling of the test tubes.

yea, i didnt really post this to get a response, though i knew it would happen...

see i have no ink in my printer, and no floppy disks or Cd to load this data onto, but in the band hall at my school there's internet and ink for the printers...SO i was planning on going online at school in my band hall, copying this post onto Word, then printing it out.

the first was a set of questions i had to do for an English class of the book The Great Gatsby

the essay was also an English assignment. It was on what the great american dream meant to me.

Sorry if i "offended" anyone, that honestly wasnt the point to get anyone's opinion. I know the feelings concerning racial injustice concerning this forum/website well enough.

yeah um i sorta read the book this year. (like the first three or four pages). But then we got to see the movie, and i was pretty interested in the story. so i decided to go ahead and read it.

and another thing from what i learned in school. the Dawes Severalty Act was passed to move Native Americans to other parts of America(1887). In return, Native Americans would be given land from the government. This deal was not succesful, because Native Americans believed that the land was not owned by man, but to be shared by man. (no man can own land).

So today "White man stole our land."

Kinda fishy.

but im not against all that Native Americans get today. White man still did put them through some stufffff. i just dont know if "stole their land is the right way to put it."

Obviously not a student of Harold Hill! The solution is obvious- email the assignment to the teacher who can then easily give you a working copy at school the next day.

My brother in law used to work in a Jewish food co-op in Montreal.. one of his regular tasks was removing Health-Canada's "NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION" labels from various products before shipping them to be sold in Kosher food stores in the U.S.
