I have the CSO low brass "Concert Works and Orchestral Excerpts" CD and really love it. I'm not aware of any other professional low brass section recordings like these and was wondering if there are any...and why not if there aren't.

The Philadelphia recording was never released. I believe that the tuba player at the time was Abe Torchinsky not Paul K.

Maybe Haroz, Vaughn, Carlson, Bollinger, and Jantsch will record one...

You play viola, do you?
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
