I played His Majesty the Tuba at the Senior Concert in high school in 1960. The top of the cadenza is only Bb just above the staff, so it's probably do-able by a good middle schooler today. I played it on a Conn 21K, that being the only horn available. I kind of like the tune, but I'm likely biased by memories.
