How's the B&S 3181 compensating Eb?

I just noticed that B&S has a compensating Eb.
Any opinions?

Courtois used to make an unusual BBb tuba with five valves: three top action pistons and two side pistons. I liked the looks of it. Has anyone tried one of those?
