I may be wrong, but I believe I heard that they are held every other year. And the regional conferences are held during the gap between the international conference.

Ralph you are 100% correct - 2007 will be the "Regional Conference Year" - as ITEA decided a few years ago that they were going to hold ITEC only every other year. There are going to be some 13 regional conferences, so everyone should have one pretty close to home that they can attend. Already looking forward to 2007 AND for sure 2008 - which should be a great location for celebrating 35 years.

I think we had one here in Illinois last year - at ISU in Bloomington - Normal.

The sheet they handed out at ITEC said that the Texas one is at UT-Austin. I talked to Steven Bryant and he confirmed it. Is there another one at Corpus Christi?

I apologize if my info. was incorrect. I remember reading and hearing that the 2007 Texas one was to be held in Corpus Christi, but it appears that information was/is incorrect. Again, my apologies.

I had a very brief conversation with other professors in area (and I mean VERY brief) that may be we should host it between Del Mar, TAMUCC and Texas A&M Kingsville. The prof who mentioned it has left the town, so I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. Come to the RTEC in Austin!
