Nice picture.

Are you the third from the right or third from the left?

WOW!! I love it when I figure something out.
At my age newness is always fun.
Anyway...here is brassdad and the son. He wants to be called Tubaman (but I laugh at him over that), so maybe he'll join up later.

For those who are gonna be smart a**es - I'm the one on the left. Holding my ebay Olds Ambassador. A recent PRK requires the sun glasses....I'm not that cool. 8) Okay, I like to pretend.

Here we are hitting the open Bb.
Image
Better work on my posture. (chin up!!!!)
Today I found my armbroucher!! (even more fun than posting the photos) Can hit Bb nearly 95% of the time between the b & # marks on the tuner. And can hit the open F!!!! This is fun!

One or two small dings, no dents to speak of. The fellow who sold it to me said his kids (3 or 4) had used it in school over the years.
A bit of surface wear, but that's mostly on the bottom bow and on the back side.
As Billy Crystal used to say: "It is better to look good than to feel good." But trying this feels good too.

Nope, he's not messing. I got the red 'X's of death, too, until he put 'em up.

And as a side note, tell "Tubaman" that he needs to develop a habit of keeping that left hand up where he can use the valve slides... he'll want to, eventually! :D

I think it was a straight bell before shipping.

OK, Wayne. So that's how to scare off the pests in the garden. How does one scare away the pests on TubeNet?

This is from last weekend, playing along with Trudy, a large mechanically playing fairground/carousel organ. The organ's owner has made rolls for the organ encoding a bunch of great old Karl King music and a number of us have formed a pickup band to accompany it. More pictures of the organ are at http://www.band-organ.com
