Flying and playing tuba...not at the same time

Post by clagar777 »

I am planning on taking some fliying lessons and getting my license. I know a couple pro tuba players that have their license and got to thinking that maybe there is a connection 8) . How many tuba players do you know, including yourself, that fly? Here is a cool story from Jim Self about one of his flying adventures: http://www.jimself.com/articles.html# Scroll down...its called "Never Again"

Our 1957 Cessna 172 N6496B. Both my wife and myself are private pilots with instrument ratings. More photos and articles at my web site. http://tropicaltuba.com

Amongst aviators it is often said that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. It's an even better landing when you can reuse the airplane.

Make sure your tuba wears a seatbelt.
