Hello all. I am posting this note to let anyone who is interested in trying a Gronitz f tuba know that I have two of them here at my house from Ferguson Music. I have one in lacquer and one in Silver plate. The Lacquer one is spoken for but both can be played on if you want to make arrangements with me to swing by. These tubas have the newer flat whole-step fifth valve and are 4 piston 1 rotor setup. The low register on these horns is absolutely remarkable and they have a very good sound that reminds me of a german f tuba but with the body of tone similar to a Yamaha 822. If anyone is in the market for a great all-around f tuba in the WA State area come try these horns before I send the other one back. Better yet, save yourself the shipping and just buy the other one, ha ha. Any interested parties should respond to my email address. All the best.....
