This statement alone would make me suspect. The "German York/York Master" instruments never bore the "J.W. York and Sons" escutcheon and, while decent enough, were nothing like the old Grand Rapids Yorks. Some models of the York Master tubas were perfectly dreadful.

Oh, well, you can't blame them for marketing. I love the reference to the horn. Nobody will say Conn, but anybody who knows anything knows what 8D means and doesn't have to!

Good luck to all of them. There are too many music instrument factories, but not enough craftsmen/women making superior instruments.
