Well, the shipping price quoted is much too cheap but,

That's Ed Jones' old horn. I don't recall it being sold on Ebay before, but I could have missed it. My understanding is that it's a pretty nice Culbertson CC, but I've only heard that second hand.

'Tis a very good price.

It does look suspicious--the seller hasn't had any activity since early 2002.

Thats the exact photo used in an earlier auction I won the bid on. Ed PM'ed me and said that it WAS his old horn, and that the person "selling" it was not the owner of it.

I knew it was very likely a scam, but I did my homework anyways.

I also was informed by Ebay itself that the seller's account was compromised. The seller kept trying to sell it to me until I suggested that I drive out to California to pick it up myself. Then, all communication from them ended.

This is a scam, I hope the winning bidder knows it.
