What type of case is the hard case? How tall was the Getzen G50?

Not sure what the brand is, sorry. It's wooden with black exterior and a black felt interior. Very much a standard, comes- with-the-instrument type of case.

The tuba is about 33" tall with a 19" bell.

As an FYI item, Steve Ferguson has a list of tuba bell x length dimensions compiled by Glen Cronkhite, maker of the Cronkhite bags (orginal RB maker). It contains specs for about all the contemporary tubas around

For the Getzen:

Canadian Brass CB50, Getzen GG50C CBG 50 19.5 x 32.75

The whole list is at www.hornguys.com Click on "cases" and "Tuba"

Thanks! I knew I had seen it somewhere before, but just couldn't remember where.
