As far as I know, there is not one currently available on an official CD, but maybe Oystein has one from a performence:

There are many versions for strings, etc. out there!

I think there is a recording on the European Championships DVD from 2003 in Bergen.

If you want, I have a recording of David Childs playing "Gabriel's Oboe". It's not the Baadsvik arrangement, it's David Childs's arrangement, but it's still a great recording. I am sure anyone who went to ITEC can comment on whether it works, but from my point of view the answer is an emphatic "YES"! The tuba part is in the upper range. Mostly in or above the staff.

I agree it is just a beautiful piece of music!

Try David's publishing company Prima Vista Music ( through world of brass , am sure that will be a place to start).....

It most certainly works when Oystein performs it. I have to admit its the first time a tuba brought tears to my eyes. Gorgeous piece - beautiful arrangement.
