My wife and I are hitting the road on September 23rd and heading across Illinois, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, & Nevada to San Fransicso. Then... up the coast through northern California, Oregon, and Washington state to Vancouver. ... returning through Great Falls, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and back through Indiana on October 14... three weeks later.
Yes... we are taking our horns (she plays sax) and we have already made arrangments to sit in with about a dozen amateur bands along the way.
I certainly can't drive up the west coast without stopping to see Chuck Guzis and Dan Oberloh.... but are there any other tubists or repairmen along the way that might be receptive to a visit?
