Exactly. Custom Music in Michigan has exclusive distribution rights for Hirsbrunner instruments in the US. They adapt their own model numbers for every exclusive line that they carry--Hirsbrunner, B&S/Perantucci, and formerly Nirschl. This discourages cross-referencing with other distributors throughout the world who use the manufacturer's model designations.

Chasing violas is always fun...

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

The Ms. Shuko would be Ms. Shuko Suzuki (formerly Kuramoto), who was a classmate of mine at the Lausanne Conservatory and for one year was my flatmate. She's a very fine player and one of the nicest people I've ever met. She's a great cook, too!! Looks like they were having another good Japanese meal! Mmmm.....

Liked that photo of a middle age Arnold Jacobs, old Bill Bell and a young Roger Bobo, Three generations of great players and teachers and nice guys. Almost like a passing of the baton from one generation to the next. Image
