Exactly. Custom Music in Michigan has exclusive distribution rights for Hirsbrunner instruments in the US. They adapt their own model numbers for every exclusive line that they carry--Hirsbrunner, B&S/Perantucci, and formerly Nirschl. This discourages cross-referencing with other distributors throughout the world who use the manufacturer's model designations.Kenneth wrote:Yorkbrunner is formally named "HB 50" in the U.S. whereas it is called "HBS 510" in other countries. (Can anybody tell me why?) Anyway, it is merely a matter of marketing.

Re: YAMAYORK and Mr. Bobo
The Ms. Shuko would be Ms. Shuko Suzuki (formerly Kuramoto), who was a classmate of mine at the Lausanne Conservatory and for one year was my flatmate. She's a very fine player and one of the nicest people I've ever met. She's a great cook, too!! Looks like they were having another good Japanese meal! Mmmm.....Kenneth wrote: Look at the middle one of those five photographs, the Japanease line for the photograph says that Ms. Shuko tries YAMAYORK. I do not know who is Ms. Shuko, but we seem to have found that the other well taken photograph of YAMAYORK.
