Now I use Netscape and never have any problems, but I did have to clean up my computer and install a program called Spybot Search & Destroy. It was free and seems to do a good job. I'm sure there are other freeware programs available.
www.mozilla.org has the best browsers available for PC: Mozilla (fully featured browser) and Firefox (lean & mean browser). I use Firefox every day, it's super fast, completely stable, and I don't have any issues with spyware or popups. just use them. you'll be glad you did.

Go with Firefox and/or a Mac. Microsoft's choice to build Internet Explorer with all those ActiveX security holes (among others) was really pretty stupid.

If you NEED to use IE for your company's intranet, don't use it for the outside world.

ya, it's cuz you're on a mac. safari is the best browser out there, but if you're stuck using a pc, firefox is indeed the way to go. so ya, Leland, I heartily agree.
