I wrote up a little halloween ditty I do with my elementary band every October to teach a little about minor tonality. The melody I am sure you have all heard somewhere on old cartoons or movies or somewhere like that. I was wondering if it is an actual melody from the classical music repertoire. here are the notes as best as i can describe them:
C Eb G HiC Ab------- GFEbD C Eb G HiC Ab------- GFEbDC---------
Think sneeking around somewhere that you are not supposed to be.....
Anyone recognize it and can identify it???

"Misterioso Pizzicato"--non?
(Comes from the Remick movie music folio of 1914, edited by J. Bodewalt Lampe (he of "Creole Belles")) Only 8 bars long--whether or not Lampe actually wrote it is unknown.)
