Atlanta is playing the planets this week, with Mike Moore on tuba and Dave Zerkel on Euph (go Dave).
I went to see it friday and both Mike and Dave sounded great, if you are in the area, go check it out. It was cool when Spano came out to shake hands with some folks after his 1st bow, he went to the prinicpal horn (Bryce Andrus) then to the new 1st trumpet (Tom Hooton) and princ tbone (Colin Williams) then he went down to shake hands with Dave.

Don't forget that Zerkel played a monster recital tour over the last couple weeks on tuba. Oh yeah, and he didn't have his euph with him.......shows how much of a great player he is on both instruments.
