If you are not in a big hurry I've got a Mirafone 184 BBb and a Yamaha YBB-621. One of them will be for sale by Christmas. I'm not yet sure which one though. I'm still going through the "which ever one I am playing a the moment is the best" , syndrome. They are both great horns, I just can't decide which one I like best.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

I've got my Rudy 4345 for sale here - good for both band/orchestra work, as well as some tuba quartet and brass quintet work.

I guess more clarification is in order.Looking for something the size of a 2j or a rudy 3/4.Also needs to be sub-3k.I've got a Lidl CC coming next week to try.Might be just the ticket. This horn will be primarily for the Nutcracker in a very tight pit and 15-20 quintet services per year,so i don't want to spend alot...I wonder if a 186cc would be small enough?...One for sale down the road in Auburn......

Miraphone 186
I'll be selling a Miraphone 186 CC with four valves in late may for $3000. I'm looking for a 1291 or 1292 CC, but can't part with my 186 until early June. Shipping would be free since my dad lives in Pensacola and I visit there in June. It's a great horn which I purchased from wwbw in 1998 I believe. It has two very small dings and minimal scratches.

Do yourself a favor and at least TRY a Weril 680 (BBb)or 681 (CC). You will simply be amazed at the size and quality of the sound that those little buggers put out. I wouldn't want to try to cover a full-sized orchestra or other large ensemble with one (I've tried), but for everything else, it is an EXCELLENT horn. Also, the price tag comes in way, WAY under your $3k budget.
I'm not saying you'll love this horn the way I do, we all have our personal preferences. I AM saying that you would be doing yourself a disservice by not at least trying the horn simply because it's not a Rudy, Miraphone, Yamaha, etc.
And no, you can't have mine.
