Has anyone used one with front action valves?
I have. You will need to flip one of the mounts (on the right hand side if I remember correctly) to get the thing to sit with enough room to get you fingers in there. This could have been a problem that I had because I have a 4 rotor Marzan and something more upright may not have the same issues.

I've got one that is out on approval with a beginner. If she doesn't take it, it will be for sale. When do you need it? I've used it on a couple of different rotaries with no problem.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
