Where To Go To Duplicate Mouthpieces?

Post by Gongadin »

Where is the best place to go for duplicating tuba mouthpieces?
If someone has a mouthpiece you're interested in, but isn't really interested in selling it, is there somewhere that can make a duplicate of it, and if so, will the duplicate be identical? What is the cost for such a duplication?
Thanks In Advance -
S.

From their (Kelly) forum dated 9/11/2006 -

"Yes - we have the tools. Unfortunately - we have not started this service - YET...not sure where else to send you. I'll drop your name in our "custom mouthpiece" customer list and when we get around to making them I'll drop you an e-mail to see if you're still interested. "

Looks like they haven't really started that yet, at least according to their forum.

Houser?

I think Houser duplicates mouthpieces. They manufacture the LOUD mouthpieces and the Sidney Helleberg among others. They have the prices etc. on their site. It is www.housermouthpiece.com

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I have access to a CNC lathe here and can do a duplication for you as well. Let me know.
