Easy Duets for Students

I am looking for easy duets in bass clef and not too high for intermediate students. Any recomendations?

The duets at the back of "First solos for the tuba player" by Herbert Wekselblatt should be ideal for intermediate standard players. They're nice & tuneful with some nice runs for the students to get their teeth into.

Rubank Advanced Method has a section of progressive duets that are great for what you are needing. I still play them all these years later to practice various aspects of playing, and when I can ask a new person in the section to run through a couple with me to get to know his playing and vice versa.

de Haske ( www.dehaske.com ) has a few fun duet books, but I'm not 100% sure if they're available in "normal" notation since they normally sell the transposed Bb BC/TC version over here....

I have a copy in regular bass clef. Range is just right for students.

Ditto. Well suited for younger students, plus the ability to hear the duets performed (well) and then the opportunity to play along with Mr Sheridan providing either of the other two parts via CD is a noteworthy plus.

I recommend, for a beginning student, the Voxman trombone duets, it'll teach the beginner to start to read stuff down the octave while becoming increasingly challenging...

Re the Voxman trombone duets, Voxman is a contributor to the Rubank series, so they are mostly the same duets.
