Unattributed Exercises

Post by TonyZ »

While cleaning my basement, I came across a tuba exercise called, "The Zarathustra Solution." It was found near Don Harry's "Warm-up From Hell," thought that does not mean anything with regard to MY basement. Does anyone know who wrote that exercise? I want to be able to attribute it to the right person. Thanks in advance!

I would love if you could send a copy of it my way. I still have my original 4 handwritten pages of "warmups from hell" and have always meant to transcribe them on Finale or something.

Hm... Perhaps we should contact Don and see if you can make it public domain....? I would absolutely love a copy for myself and my students!

Hooray for Don's warmups! They have helped me so much. He mentioned to me once that he had thought about publishing them sometime, but I am not sure how serious he is about that. He has them written out very nicely on Finale now. Contact him and I'm sure he could send you a copy.

They are indeed Don's, and he has many warm-ups. Contact him if you'd like to get them!
