IE 7
The official release is finally out. Big whoop - Opera / Firefox wannabe.
No matter how I try to configure my screen, I still have about 1/2" less viewable webpage than with IE6 - I was able to get everything including the address on one line before.
We have a test box up at work because we know there are going to be issues relating to it.
Any other comments good or bad?

Personally, I find this to be Explorer's most salient feature:

Better to just stay away from those dorn sites.it is that it's far easier for me to delete my cookies and history than before.

Funny you should mention that. The Vista desktop gives me a headache...poomshanka wrote:Another nice Mac vs. PC viewpoint...

I think Bill G. art directed the last Star Wars flick. Or was it George L. who designed the FUCced up Vista interface?windshieldbug wrote:They're always the sort of people that you have to watch!Chuck(G) wrote:I thought both were already happily married...
Either way, they're people we usually *do* end up watching, whether we really want to or not...

...except for some pages on the M$ site. Try opening some http://www.microsoft.com pages in IE and then in Firefox. They look different--and some are non-functional in Firefox.UncleBeer wrote:Firefox does it all. I have no regrets.
All I'm saying is that while Firefox is very good (and the betas of FF 2.0 look even better), don't ditch your copy of IE quite yet.
