Yamaha YCB 861 for sale
This is a large 4/4 horn. The S/N is 1000144. It is an early model and there are no markings on the horn other than the serial & model numbers on the bar where the valve springs are mounted.
I purchased this horn from Dillon’s about 4 years ago. The bell had been wrinkled and Matt Walters did an excellent job of rolling it out. There are the usual dents on the bottom bow and I would estimate the lacquer is about 75-80% in tact.
I had Robb Stewart extend the 5th valve slide to a flat two whole steps (2nd & 3rd valve combination). His work is excellent as would be expected. The horn has the ususal intonation issue in the 5th partial. But it's easy to work with.
The price is $4,500.00 firm and includes the original Yamaha hard case and a Reunion Blues gig bag. I am willing to discuss the shipping costs. The horn is located in Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley.
Info on the photos are show below.

Re: Yamaha YCB 861 for sale
Go to photobucket.com and set up a new (free) account. You will be able to upload the photos there. When you get them uploaded, it will give you the file URL underneath the images. In fact, it will give you the file URL with the bbcode tags already attached as well (the one that is [ IMG ]http://www.photobucket.com/whatever/wha ... atever.jpg[ /IMG ]). All you have to do is paste that (with the [ IMG ] around it) into a post and the pic will display. IM me if you have any problems.Yama861 wrote:I have photos but I don't understand how to include them with this post.
