Dr.Bowman and friends (most of UNT's euphonium studio) performing the flower song from carmen at UNT's symphonic band concert last night (October 31). The euphoniumists are all lined up on the balcony behind the band. This was recorded by a cell phone, but the audio is great!

Thank you for the video. If that was a cell phone recording, I am really impressed. Got to get me one of those type cell phones.
We pronounce it Guf Coast

Very nice Cassie. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent intonation for 18 euphs playing in unison. I especially liked the chords near the end.

Who was conducting? Brian Bowman?
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ/RF mpc
YEP-641S (recently sold), DE mpc (102 rim; I-cup; I-9 shank)
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches:
"Always play with a good tone, never louder than lovely, never softer than supported." - author unknown.

Dr.Bowman was playing in the group, he was in the middle.

Jung-Moo Lee, one of the UNT tuba grads, recorded that on his cell phone. If you want a phone like that, you'll probably need to go to South Korea.

The band playing is the UNT Symphonic Band, conducted by Dennis Fisher. The euphoniums are Dr. Bowman and 17 of his students.
